On a brilliantly sunny Easter Day about sixty people of all ages turned up at our new Village Park.
They were searching for multi-coloured “eggs” — bright blue, orange, yellow, red and green containers — hidden about the field. Inside most was some chocolate. A few contained silver and golden eggs, earning their finder a special prize. As usual, Dean’s Beans was on hand to provide hot drinks and snacks.
It was such a bright, warm day that people stayed from start to end, trying out the new equipment in our growing Park: in the children’s play area, the outdoor gym and the basketball hoop and court. Come and see for yourself! The Park is open to all careful users. Keep dogs on leads, please, and clear up after them.
