From the Editors (June 2018)

We are grateful to everyone in the five parishes, and beyond, who contributed items to this month’s Tidings. We would like to thank our advertisers, one and all, who help us cover the costs of printing the year’s issues. As you can see, we’ve made some changes – let us know what you think of them.

For example, we’ve added Diary Dates to keep track of all events and activities in the five villages. We give priority to Ellingham, Geldeston, Gillingham, Kirby Cane and Stockton, to their news and to the organisations within them. We welcome and appreciate contributions of all kinds to the making and circulation of this magazine – we rely on volunteers, for instance, to distribute it to hundreds of homes and businesses.

The editors reserve the right to decide what to publish and to abridge a text if need be. For obvious reasons, we will never consider items unless we know who the authors are.

Material for the July-August issue, please, by 14 June. For the September issue the deadline is 14 August.
